JOMBLANG CAVE

Jomblang Cave is a stunning example of a lost world, which some believe could date back to prehistoric times. This collapsed sinkhole is part of an intricate cave system that stretches through Gunung Kidul, beyond Yogyakarta. To explore this natural wonder, visitors are assisted in descending around 165 feet (50 meters) using a rope, before hiking down a tunnel to reach the awe-inspiring cave. Once inside, they are greeted by the mesmerizing sight of sunlight rays illuminating a submerged forest, followed by a guided walk inside the cave covering a distance of 300 meters back and forth.
